This is the struggle of the seven magicians for possession of the legendary artifact - Holy Grail, which will fulfill any desire of the winner and, thus, change his destiny.<br />Each magician from the moment of his participation in the war calls a servant - one of the great heroic souls of the past or the future - fighting on the side of his master. There are seven servants, all of them belong to different combat classes: Swordsman, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Berserker, Assassin and Mage. The battle is fought until one pair of master and servant remains. Emiya Shirou, against her own will, invokes the sword, a servant who has set herself the goal of reaching the Grail by any means. However, he does not want to participate in the battle, since he lost all his relatives in the last war. Emiya begins to help Tohsaka Rin - a strong magician who studies in the same school as Shirou. But the rules of the Holy Grail war indicate that sooner or later they will have to fight with each other, and the most possible outcome for the loser is .<br /><br />
